Recurly’s Integration with Merchant eSolutions
Recurly has integrated support for Merchant eSolutions (MeS), allowing US merchants a streamlined way to manage subscription billing. In order to connect your Recurly account to Merchant eSolutions, you need to have your Profile
and Profile Key
information, both of which are provided by Merchant eSolutions.
Address Verification Service (AVS)
When integrated with Recurly, Merchant eSolutions runs AVS on all recurring transactions. This is a powerful feature for merchants, as it helps to verify the identity of the person claiming to own the credit card and thereby reduce the risk of fraud.
The importance of AVS extends beyond security. By employing AVS on recurring transactions, Merchant eSolutions helps to ensure that their merchants are able to qualify for the lowest possible interchange rates on card-not-present transactions. These lower rates can represent significant cost savings over time, making the integration of Recurly with Merchant eSolutions a financially savvy choice for subscription businesses.
