Migration process

  1. Install Recurly Commerce

    • Download the Recurly Commerce app from the Shopify App Store.
    • Choose Core or Pro plan and complete checkout in Shopify.
  2. Grant collaborator access

    • Accept the collaborator invitation from Recurly Commerce.
    • Do not alter requested permissions—they ensure full migration and support.
  3. Kick-off call

    • Book a 15-minute call with your Recurly Commerce CSM to scope and schedule the work.
    • Contact [email protected] to schedule.
  4. Submit migration questionnaire

    • Complete our form with your Shopify and Stripe API keys.
    • This allows us to pull in your subscriber contracts, plans, and customer profiles.
  5. Approve storefront components

    • We’ll install the Recurly Commerce subscription widget and customer portal on your site.
    • Review and confirm before we go live. Your CSM will notify you once everything is active.

During migration

Our engineers and your CSM handle the data transfer—no action required on your end. You’ll receive regular updates until completion.

Post migration

  • Celebrate! 🎉 Your data is now in Recurly Commerce.
  • Book a final onboarding session with your CSM to learn best practices, review analytics, and optimize your new setup.
