Recurly Commerce Forecasting unlocks smarter revenue and subscription order predictions. With Recurly Commerce Forecasting, merchants can accurately predict future revenue, orders, and SKU sales for the next 12 months.

Forecasting leverages your current active, paused, and dunning subscriptions to project future order volumes and gross sales across customizable time windows.

Dashboard overview

Forecasting combines your live subscription contracts to generate three interactive charts:

Daily breakdown of forecasted gross sales & orders

Daily breakdown of forecasted SKU units per product variant

Filter and display options

  • Time window: Current month, next 3, 6, or 12 months
  • Aggregation: Daily or monthly
  • Contract scope: Active only; Active + Paused; Active + Paused + Dunning
  • Metric type: SKU units or revenue

Note: Forecasts auto-refresh once per day. The refresh timestamp is shown on the dashboard; data is not updated in real time.

Metrics

  • Total gross sales forecasted: Forecasted total gross sales from subscription orders for the selected period.
  • Total subscription orders forecasted: Forecasted total number of subscription orders for the selected period.
  • Forecasted average order value (AOV): Forecasted average total of every subscription order for the selected period.
