A Gift Subscription is a subscription that one customer purchases as a gift, allowing the recipient to redeem, manage, and personalize their subscription independently.

Key details

Enabling the gift option

1. Navigate to Subscription Plans in the Recurly Commerce app.
2. When creating or editing an offer, scroll to the Subscription Options section.
3. Toggle Add Gift Option on to enable the “Is this a gift?” prompt in your subscription widget.
4. Click Confirm (or Save) to apply your changes.

Note: Only products included in the offer will display the gift prompt.
