Insights are generated by Google Gemini, which ingests your data and surfaces trends in plain language. Some insights are benchmarked against Recurly's built-in performance data. Learn more about benchmarks.

Anomaly insights

In addition to trend insights, Compass identifies anomalies in your transactional data. An anomaly is flagged when data exceeds the 30-day rolling average by more than 200%.

The flag icon above identifies anomaly insights. Supported anomaly types include fraud transaction spikes, cancellations, trial cancellations, renewal declines, signup declines, account updater anomalies, expiration management spikes, intelligent retry pattern changes, and refund anomalies.

Anomalies can reflect positive and anticipated outcomes — such as a spike from a product launch or flash sale — or they may signal something worth investigating. The absence of anomaly insights means either no anomalous data was detected, or there isn't yet enough baseline data to identify patterns.
