Definition

Recurly's gateway test configuration tool lets merchants verify that their payment gateway is correctly integrated and able to process transactions before going live. Testing requires your site to be in development or production mode — it is not available in sandbox mode.

Test your gateway configuration

Open Test Configuration

In Recurly, navigate to Configuration → Payment Gateways. Locate your gateway, click Options in the upper right, and select Test Configuration.

Review the results

A successful test confirms that Recurly can communicate with your payment gateway and is ready to process transactions. If the test fails, check your gateway credentials and configuration settings.
