Users export

Download a comprehensive report of all Recurly site users — including name, email, access permissions, role, and date added — from Admin Exports.

The Users export gives administrators a full report of every user who currently has access to their Recurly site — including name, email, permissions, role, and the date they were added. Use it to audit access, review permission assignments, and monitor user activity.
Available on all Recurly plans

Limitations

  • The Users report only includes users who have current access to the site during the selected dates. Deleted users are excluded.
  • For the most accurate snapshot of user access history, run this report regularly — each export reflects access as it stands at the time of the report.

Access the export

Go to Admin → Admin Exports → Users.

Explore interface

The Explore interface provides an interactive query builder for analyzing user data. It's divided into three panels:

PanelDescription
Left — WorkbookAsk natural-language questions about your user data. The Workbook Agent suggests fields and runs queries on your behalf.
Center — Field pickerBrowse and search the full field catalog, grouped by topic. Click any field to add it to your active query. Use the In-use filter to see only selected fields.
Right — Results areaToggle between Results (table view), Chart (visualization), or both. Use the Options tab to configure axes, grouping, and chart type. Click Preview to run a sample query before committing.

Pre-built sample queries

Two sample queries are available to get started quickly:

  • List of users (v1) — A comprehensive report of all site users including first name, last name, email, user access, and date added.
  • List of users (v2) — The same report as v1 with the addition of the user role field.

Workbook Agent

The Workbook Agent is the fastest way to start an analysis. Type a question in the text box at the bottom of the left panel and press Enter (or click the send icon).

Example prompts:

  • "How many admins have each role type? Give me a breakdown"
  • "Which users have admin access but no MFA enabled?"
  • "Show me all users with billing permissions"

Available fields

  • Email — Filter users by email address
  • Name — Filter users by first and last name
  • User Access — View the list of permissions assigned to each user
  • Date Added Time — Filter users by the date they accepted their invitation to the site
  • User Role — Filter users by their assigned role
