The sandbox is fully self-serve and accessible directly within the Recurly application via the Integrations page and guided workflows in the Compass experience.
The new Sandbox ensures that all configuration, testing, and integration are done in a secure, isolated environment that mirrors your production capabilities. This significantly accelerates your time-to-value, allowing you to test critical campaigns—such as involuntary churn remediation—with zero risk before moving to a live production environment.
Key steps
- Access Your Recurly Account: Log in to your Recurly Subscription Management account.
- Sandbox Provisioning: Get your free Recurly Engage sandbox through one of two integrated pathways:
- Navigate directly to Integrations > Recurly Engage to access the self-serve provisioning page.
- Open the Recurly Compass chatbot and request to "set up an Engage sandbox."
- Account Activation & Team Access: Check your inbox for an automated email from Recurly Engage. Click the login link provided to activate your sandbox. Once logged in, navigate to Settings > Users to invite additional team members to the environment.
