Editing a subscription plan lets you update every live offer setting — products, purchase options, schedules, discounts, gifting, add-ons, and shipping — without affecting current subscriber contracts. Changes apply prospectively, so active subscribers stay uninterrupted.

Limitations

Only products not already tied to another subscription offer will appear when selecting SKUs.

Edit a subscription plan

Access the plan detail page

Open Subscription Plans

Navigate to Subscription Plans in the left sidebar.

Select your plan

Find the plan you want to update, click the ⋮ menu on its row, and select Edit.

The plan detail page lays out every part of the plan on a single scrollable page, broken into sections — Details, Subscription Products, Product Swaps and Add-ons, Schedule, Free Trial, Cancellation Flow, Special Discounts, Free Shipping, Gift Options, and Contract Terms — each with its own Edit link.

Edit a section

Find the section

On the plan detail page, locate the section you want to update and click its pencil Edit icon.

Make your changes

Update the section's settings as needed.

Save your changes

Click Save Changes in the upper-right corner.

NoteAfter saving, you may need to refresh the plan summary page to see your changes reflected.

Set a plan to draft

Use the toggle next to the plan's name in the Subscription Plans list to switch it between Active and Draft. Setting a plan to draft removes it from new signups without archiving it.

Archive a subscription plan

Open the plan menu

On the plan's row in the Subscription Plans list, or from the plan detail page, click the ⋮ menu and select Archive.

Confirm

Confirm to deactivate the offer. Archived plans move into the Archived tab.

WarningArchiving does not cancel active subscriptions — those contracts continue to renew. Archived plans cannot be reactivated.

FAQs

What happens if I change a live plan setting that's already in use by active subscribers?

Edits apply prospectively — they don't retroactively change existing subscriber contracts. For example, if you lower a discount from 15% to 10%, subscribers already on the 15% rate keep that rate until they make a change to their own contract, such as swapping an item or updating their delivery frequency. Once a subscriber makes that kind of change, their contract pulls from the live settings on your plan, including the new 10% discount.

Can I delete an active plan?

No — active plans can't be deleted. To disable one, either archive it using the ⋮ menu on the subscription plan's edit page or summary page, or switch it to draft status using the toggle next to the plan's name in the plans list.
