Credit Payment Notifications inform you when an open credit balance is applied to an invoice or when a credit payment is voided due to a failed charge invoice. These events help you keep your records in sync with credit invoice activity.

Prerequisites and limitations

Credit Invoices feature must be enabled on your site (auto-enabled for sites created after May 8, 2018 UTC).
Only two events are emitted: credit_payment.created and credit_payment.voided.
JSON payloads contain metadata; XML payloads include full <credit_payment> and <account> details.

`credit_payment.created`	`<new_credit_payment_notification>`	Sent when a credit payment is created (applying credit balance in a billing event, removing a credit invoice balance, or refunding a credit payment as a transaction).
`credit_payment.voided`	`<voided_credit_payment_notification>`	Sent when a credit payment is voided because the charge invoice it was applied to has failed.
